Facilitators:

Norman King, Ph.D.     Professor Emeritus, University of Windsor (Religion and Culture), Director, School of Theology, Iona College
Jane Ripley, Hon.B.Mus, CHM.     Vocal Teacher and Choral Director
In addition to their individual professional careers, the facilitators together have presented papers, written  articles, and conducted workshops on spirituality, story, and  music. They have also co-authored a book of reflective verse. They have been to the ecumenical spiritual community of Taizé, France, several times, led groups there, and currently offer Taizé prayer monthly at Iona College.


Weekend Sessions:

Friday Evening            Exploration of Story and Music: Pathway to the Inner Self  (Including the story and music of Taize, followed by a Taize prayer)

Saturday Morning      Folk Tales Revisited: The quest for self-discovery, worth, and meaning through the re-interpretation of well-known childhood stories

Saturday Afternoon    Biblical Stories Revisited: Reinterpreting familiar stories as a guide for naming and shaping our life journey
                        
Saturday Evening       Story and Music: Pathway to Healing and Wholeness:

Sunday Morning
         Integrating Story and Music into the Fabric of Our Lives
