Music
is the voice of the spirit.
It encompasses and evokes a variety of interrelated experiences. Music
wells up from inner presence, finds outward expression,
and touches the heart of another. It involves moments of silence in
which that presence remains even more real. Music echoes the heart of
the universe. It flows in streams of joy and sorrow, yet resonates with
a oneness that embraces and transcends all feelings. It is felt in a
now that unites memory and longing, vastness and depth. Music evokes
gratefulness that such a precious thing exists, a beauty that gives
meaning to life.
